Ankritha Rasmeeth crowned Junior Model International India 2017

Ankritha Rasmeeth, a KG 2 student of Indian International School, Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO) was recently crowned Junior Model International India at a glitzy event held at Calicut, India. Five year old Ankhritha, who is a resident of Karama beat her fellow contestants from various regions of India, emerging as the top contestant at the event. A total of 39 participants in 4-6 years category competed at the final event.

The young fashionistas were tested at various levels including talent, personality, confidence and ramp walk. There were several rounds that helped the guests gauge the winner. Ankhritha owned the Talent Round by performing a Bollywood dancer number. She enthralled the audience and the judges alike with her innocent moves, style and confidence. She was adjudged ‘Best Talent 2017’ for her scintillating performance.

For the School Uniform Round, she adorned her own school (Indian International School, DSO) uniform. But her look for the Sportswear Round truly captured the judges imagination where she sported a Golf themed outfit. She stood out from the crowd, royally posing with the golf stick and charming the crowd. Judges were stunned watching her ramp-walking skills.

The final round saw the contestants wearing beautiful gowns and walking the ramp. Ankhritha nailed the round with her look, confidence, style and poise. Inspite of a neck to neck competition with her fellow contestants, Ankhritha managed to win the hearts of the judges and bagged the title of Junior Model International India 2017. She will be representing India at the international leg of the event to be held in Goa, India later this year.
